A few weeks have passed since my last class as a Master’s in Marketing and Sales Management student at EAE Business School, and the journey has been deeply fulfilling to say the least. 🐣 ✨
It is one thing to understand marketing and sales through theories, frameworks, and concepts, but it is another to examine them in a room shaped by professors with years of profound industry experience, colleagues with perspectives formed across different countries, cultures, and market realities, and case studies, presentations, and decision-making exercises that pushed me to question the assumptions behind my thinking.
Coming into this Master’s with prior work experience gave me a foundation, but the program challenged me to examine that foundation with greater critical depth. I came away with a deeper understanding that the right strategy, market direction, and executional approach are not defined by how convincing they appear before they meet the market, but by whether they can reconcile consumer expectations, brand relevance, pricing strategies, lifecycle stages, category dynamics, and the growth imperatives behind every business decision.
I am definitely grateful to the professors who were central to that shift. Their expertise and experience pushed me to operate closer to the conditions of business reality itself, where strategies and ideas remain incomplete until they are challenged, and execution is where strategy proves its weight.
This experience also shaped me into the kind of marketing and sales leader I aspire to be within the international field. It showed me that leadership starts with the discipline we build within ourselves, through the patience to sit with complexity, the humility to let my assumptions be challenged by colleagues, and the awareness that even the strongest strategy falls short until it becomes relevant to the people it is meant to serve.
Next comes the final stretch of this Master’s journey, where everything we have learned begins to take shape beyond the classroom. 😉 🔋 ✨
